This year's avalanche hosts a great group of speakers and bands. Each of them will invite and challenge you to come closer to God and experience Him deeper.
But first before everything, all of the speakers and bands have a passion to see God lifted up. They are all apart of this Avalanche but so are you. It's about Him and it's about us together for Him.

Peter Helms
Peter was radically touched and transformed by Jesus while singing, dancing and acting in the musical "Hair" at the age of nineteen. His life has been and is, an expression of the flair that comes into our lives when 'touched by Jesus'.
It's impossible to put him in a box, as he will surprise you and 'jump right out'. He is an artist by nature, on the cutting edge, daring, vibrant, colorful, spontaneous, and prophetic, using all the mediums to explore God thru.
Peter has traveled far and wide, across the globe, vibrantly teaching on Faith, the Prophetic, Worship, Finding Your Destiny, Life in the Spirit, Healing, and many more topics. Peter enjoys radically seeing lives changed and set on fire with the love of Jesus.
Anne-Marie loves to see people come alive, as they realize deep in their hearts that, 'if God loves them, then nothing is impossible'.
Kim Unrau
Kim & Darlene are Lead Pastors at New Life Church. They started in ministry with discipling young people and they still have a deep desire to see the emerging generation stand on their shoulders. Kim loves to teach people to walk into the Holy Place with confidence while hearing and seeing Jesus. He also loves to train each believer to develop revelation friends (friends who help you discover revelation) until we are all one with each other like the Father is with the Son. Then we take all of this to those who don't know God. Kingdom come.
Nico Deschner
Nico Deschner began leading worship and youth in his hometown of Biberach, Germany. With a passion to connect people to the heart of God, to be extravagant lovers of Him, and to live his life out humbly in real relationship he was soon leading throughout Germany and other parts of Europe. God called him and his wife, Nadira, to Canada as assistant leaders to the Go School, an intense mentoring program with a hands-on initiative. It was soon after that they became the youth directors of New Life Church with the vision to mentor kingdom leaders and lead a generation to hear God’s voice and follow it.
Nico and Nadira have a 2 year old son Levi Gabriel and expecting their next Baby in June.
They bring the german flavor to New Life Church, Avalanche and where ever they go. “What are you sinking about?”
Rebekah Croker
Rebekah Croker at the age of fourteen had a dramatic encounter of Jesus and Christ crucified that compelled her to surrender her whole life to children and youth. With a heart for a young generation to impact the world for Jesus in kingdom love and power, she has pastored within the local church setting, ministered at conferences and camps, launched children's outreaches, helped train others, developed youth children’s leadership teams, and has traveled around Canada, and to other nations. She founded and leads Ezekiel People.
Rebekah currently works out Kelowna, BC as Children's Ministry Director of New Life Church and with Hope for the Nations.
New Life Youth Band
The New Life Youth Band is birthed out of the local church community of New Life in Kelowna with a raw passion to be extravagant lovers of Jesus. With it comes a heart to mentor and launch youth called to lead in worship and/or that have a call to use music to impact the world for God's kingdom. The entire band is made up and co-lead by youth and young adults exploring their destiny and showing their love for God not only to their peers, but to the generations wherever God gives them opportunity. Their heart would be that you would be called deeper in your worship to the King and inspired to step out.
